Faithful & Fulfilling the great commission
The Great Commission is a mandate given by Jesus Christ to his followers to spread the gospel message to the entire world. It is found in the New Testament, in the book of Matthew: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20).
Being faithful to the Great Commission involves actively sharing the message of Jesus with others and helping them become committed followers of Christ. This can take many different forms, such as evangelism, teaching, and serving others in Jesus’ name.
Fulfilling the Great Commission also involves living out the teachings of Jesus in our own lives and striving to follow him more closely. This includes loving and serving others, being obedient to God’s will, and seeking to bring glory to God in all that we do. Ultimately, being faithful and fulfilling the Great Commission is about living out our faith in a way that honors God and helps others come to know him. It is a call to share the love and hope of Jesus with the world, and to be a light and an example to those around us.
Building next generation in Christian Faith
Building the next generation in Christian faith involves passing on the teachings and traditions of the Christian faith to the next generation. This can be done in a variety of ways, such as:
- Teaching children and youth about the Bible and the teachings of Jesus
- Leading by example and living out your faith in a way that is attractive to others
- Encouraging and supporting children and youth as they grow in their faith
- Providing opportunities for children and youth to learn and grow in their faith, such as through Sunday School or youth groups
- Modeling a life of prayer and devotion to God
It is also important to recognize that building the next generation in Christian faith is not just the responsibility of parents and other adults. Every member of the church has a role to play in supporting and encouraging the spiritual growth of the next generation. This includes being a positive influence, being willing to answer questions and provide guidance, and being a prayerful supporter.

- GLORIFYING GOD
Glorifying God means giving God honor, praise, and credit for who he is and what he has done. It involves recognizing that God is the creator and sustainer of all things, and that he is worthy of our worship and adoration.
There are many ways to glorify God, including:
- Worshiping God through prayer, singing, and other forms of devotion
- Living a life that reflects the love and teachings of Jesus Christ
- Sharing the gospel message with others and helping them come to know Jesus
- Serving others and showing compassion and kindness in the name of Jesus
- Giving thanks to God for his many blessings and provisions
Ultimately, glorifying God is about living a life that brings honor and praise to him, Glorifying God is not just about what we do, but also about how we do it. We should strive to do everything we do to the best of our ability and with a heart that is focused on pleasing God and bringing him honor. When we glorify God, we are recognizing his rightful place as the supreme being and the source of all good things, and we are expressing our love and devotion to him.
